What a year it has been for Murphys Waves! Over the course of 2016, we have successfully installed and commissioned 15 wave and surf machines at water parks around the world …including an 18M “Breaker” Wave machine at the Platinum Club in Egypt, An 8M Stingray in Qatar and a 24M Breaker, Double Stingray and Typhoon river for the Hefei Wanda development in China.
Earlier this Year, we launched our SurfAir attraction at the Aqua Brava Water park in Spain. The SurfAir is the world’s first ever inflatable and fully mobile surfing attraction.
The ride was a huge success and later in the year we launched the SurfAir permanent!
Between March and November, Our team attended 6 International Trade Shows, across three continents! Trade shows are an invaluable way to get a heads up on all the trends in the world of water parks, meet new clients and catch up with old friends in the industry!
The WWA show was one of the most exciting shows of the year for Murphys Waves… We were delighted to accept the Leading Edge Award for the development of our SurfAir attraction.
The Leading Edge Award is awarded to individuals or parks for creativity in the development of new themes, facilities, programs, services or operational concepts in the water attractions industry; and to suppliers who have developed new concepts, products or services to the benefit of park members, their customers and the water attractions industry.
